I incorrectly identified these flowers as hyacinths the other day, when they are actually Striped Squills, aka Pushkinia scilloids var. libanotica. Oops! We planted a mix of flower bulbs a couple of years ago (thanks Mary!) and this is the first time that the Striped Squills have come up, so they were a very pleasant surprise. I quite like them.
