The Common Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia) is a simple nodding blue-violet, bell-shaped flower perched on top of a tall, slender stem. The plant blooms all summer and into the fall in Colorado’s foothills all the way up to alpine areas. In Scotland, this flower is known as the Bluebell.

The Harebell has been referenced  by many poets, including by Shakespeare in his play, Cymbeline.
